This saree has been weaved using the traditonal adai technique. The Adai technique is an ancient and traditional method used to embellish Kanjeevarams. This skilled weaving technique allows making of intricate patterns such as form of motifs within motifs or much more complex design patterns.

The body of the saree has zari woven malli moggu motif. The saree has an extremely traditional border with motifs of RUdraksham, thuthripoo,neli and mayilkan. The pallu is a rich zari woven pallu.

Kancheepuram sarees, also known as Kanjeevaram sarees, are traditional silk sarees woven in the Kanchipuram region of Tamil Nadu, India. Renowned for their rich texture, vibrant colors, and intricate zari work, Kancheepuram sarees are highly prized and considered among the finest silk sarees in India.
